ABBY & RYAN | CINCINNATI ART MUSEUM WEDDING
Abby and Ryan had one of those elegant, black tie weddings that is fit for a magazine. We first met up with Abby and the girls at an Airbnb in Covington- an old, three-story house with the steepest staircase. I shot the details in the living room while Jessica hung with the girls upstairs for a robe photo and some getting ready shots. Abby’s mom and sister helped her into her dress and her mom was so emotional seeing her daughter in her dress all ready for the day. Abby then did a brief look with her girls, and then a first look with her dad which brought out some more tears.
I headed across the river to the Lytle Park Hotel where the guys were getting ready. It was a cozy little suite for all of the guys to get ready in, but we got some cool photos nonetheless. From the hotel we all drove up the hill to the museum.
The courtyard of the museum served as a beautiful backdrop for Abby and Ryan’s first look. And most of the rest of the portraits. It was also already set up for their ceremony so we could get some photos of that as well. Abby’s bridesmaids looked so good in their satin dresses and the guys wore black tie to go along with the girls.
After the ceremony, and some family photos, we took several more portraits of Abby and Ryan before we headed inside to the reception. The decorations in the room were gorgeous with candles and tall floral arrangements. It all looked so good against the marble and stone of the museum. The room was also perfect for the band they had hired. There were even balconies we could utilize for photos. The evening was beautiful and so much fun. We’re so glad we were able to photograph it!
